How do we know that Christ has the power to save us?

Answered in 2 sources

We know Christ has the power to save because He is the Lord of hosts, the Almighty who can accomplish His will.

The assurance of Christ's power to save comes from His identity as the Lord of hosts, which is mentioned numerous times in Scripture. As the Almighty, He commands all authority in heaven and on earth. In Psalm 24 and Isaiah 6, we see God exalted and recognized as the King of glory, who holds power over creation and salvation. His ability to save is tied to His divine sovereignty; therefore, we can trust that He will effectively carry out the redemption of His people and protect them from destruction. The Lord's nature guarantees that His redemption is secure and that all His promises will come to pass.
