How do we know that Christ is currently reigning?

Christ's reign is a central aspect of sovereign grace theology. Scripture makes it clear that Jesus currently reigns from His position at the right hand of God. In Ephesians 1:20-22, it states that God raised Christ and seated Him at His right hand, ‘far above all rule and authority, power and dominion.’ This active reign is not a future hope but a current reality, reflecting His sovereignty over all things. Therefore, as believers, we can take comfort that Christ’s rule extends over every circumstance we face in our lives, providing peace amid trials, as expressed in the hymn ‘Hallelujah, Christ is reigning.’
