How do we know that Christ is in us?

Answered in 2 sources

We know Christ is in us through the transformative effects of His presence, which is evident in our actions and attitudes.

The assurance that Christ is in us is reflected in our conduct and the changes we experience in our lives. Philippians 2:1-2 mentions the evidence of genuine faith through comfort, love, and fellowship in the Spirit. If we truly possess Christ, our behaviors and attitudes will align with His teachings, demonstrating humility, love for one another, and a willingness to serve. This internal transformation leads to a true expression of Christian faith—a life filled with the fruits of the Spirit, which confirms the indwelling of Christ. Therefore, the sincerity of our faith and our actions serves as evidence of His presence in our lives.
