How do we know that Christ is our example in suffering?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ is our example in suffering because He perfectly endured wrong without sinning, serving as an exemplar for all believers.

In 1 Peter 2:21-23, it explicitly states that Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example to follow in His steps. Unlike us, who often respond to suffering with anger or retaliation, Christ did not respond in kind when He was wronged; instead, He remained sinless and meek. His perfect life of obedience and His patient endurance in the face of unfounded accusations highlight the call for believers to trust in God’s justice and to remain steadfast in faith, even when maligned or mistreated. His suffering and the way He dealt with injustice serve as motivation for us to endure similar situations gracefully.
