How do we know that Christ is our mediator?

Answered in 16 sources

We know Christ is our mediator through His sacrificial death and the testimony of Scripture, which reveals His unique role in bridging the gap between God and humanity.

The assurance of Christ as our mediator is found throughout Scripture. In Romans 8:34, it affirms that Christ intercedes for us at the right hand of God, demonstrating His continual mediatorial role. Furthermore, His sinless life and sacrificial death position Him uniquely as the one qualified to mediate between a holy God and sinful humanity. Hebrews 9:15 expands on this by revealing that through His death, He has established a New Covenant for those called to receive the promise of eternal inheritance. This truth provides believers with confidence that Christ represents us before God, validating His role as our mediator.
