How do we know that Christ is our only source of righteousness?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture asserts that our righteousness comes solely through faith in Christ, as stated in Philippians 3:9.

In Philippians 3:9, Paul expresses that he desires to be found in Christ, not having a righteousness of his own derived from the law, but rather that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. This doctrine highlights the cornerstone of Reformed theology: justification by faith alone. Our good works and religious efforts cannot earn favor with God; only the perfect righteousness of Christ can satisfy God's righteous demands. Believers are declared righteous solely through faith in Jesus Christ, who is the fulfillment of all righteousness.
