How do we know that Christ is our peace-maker?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is our peace-maker as He reconciles us to God by satisfying divine justice through His sacrifice.

Jesus Christ is recognized as the ultimate peace-maker because He fulfills the requirement for reconciliation between God and humanity. This is supported by passages like Ephesians 2:14, where Paul declares, 'For he himself is our peace.' Through His atoning death, Jesus removes the obstacles of sin that separate us from God. His righteousness is imputed to the believers, ensuring that they are regarded as justified before God. Thus, the assurance that we have peace with God comes from understanding that it is through Christ's sacrificial love that we are reconciled and can stand confidently before our Creator.
