How do we know that Christ is our peace with God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is our peace with God through His sacrifice, reconciling us to the Father by His blood.

In Colossians 1:20, the apostle Paul explains that Christ made peace through the blood of His cross, connecting our reconciliation with God to His sacrificial death. This means that it is not by our works or efforts that we achieve peace; rather, it is entirely dependent upon Christ's atonement. He resolved the enmity that existed because of our sin, thereby enabling us to have a restored relationship with God. Through faith in Jesus, we are seen as holy and unblameable in God's sight (Colossians 1:22), securing our position as reconciled and at peace with Him.
