How do we know that Christ is our refuge and deliverer?

The Bible consistently points to Christ as our refuge and deliverer. Proverbs 18:10 states, 'The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.' This imagery conveys the idea of Christ providing safety and security for His people amidst life's trials. In times of trouble, we can look to Him for both physical and spiritual protection. Just as the tower in Judges 9 was a physical refuge for the people, Christ offers us a spiritual fortress that cannot be breached by our enemies. He delivers us not just from our immediate circumstances but also from sin and eternal death through His work on the cross.
