How do we know that Christ is our refuge and sanctuary?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ is our refuge because God’s Word assures us that He is our safe haven and protector.

The assurance that Christ is our refuge comes directly from God's promises in Scripture. As indicated in Isaiah 8:14, the Lord declares that He will be a sanctuary for those who trust in Him. This means that in every trial and time of trouble, believers can turn to Christ as their protection. The New Testament reiterates this theme, especially in Ephesians 2:6, which describes believers as being raised up together with Christ and seated in heavenly places. This establishes not only Christ's role as our sanctuary but also our belonging to Him, giving us assurance of our eternal safety.
