How do we know that Christ is our source of hope in adversity?

The account in Exodus 15 illustrates Christ as the source of hope for believers facing adversity. After the Israelites encountered bitter waters, Moses cried out to God, and God pointed him to a tree that, when cast into the bitter waters, made them sweet. This event foreshadows Christ's work on the cross, where He transformed the bitterness of sin and suffering into the sweetness of redemption. In times of difficulty, believers are reminded to look to Christ, who intercedes for us and provides the sustenance we need to endure. Our trust in Him allows us to see that even the bitter trials serve a divine purpose in cultivating our faith and deepening our reliance on His grace.
