How do we know that Christ is our true refuge?

Answered in 3 sources

Christ is our true refuge, as He is described in Isaiah as the man who shelters us from life’s storms and God’s wrath.

The assurance of Christ as our true refuge comes from Scripture, particularly Isaiah 32, which refers to a man who is a hiding place in times of trouble. Christ fulfills this role perfectly, offering shelter from the winds of trials and temptations, as well as from the tempest of God’s judgment. Believers find security in Him because He is the only one who can protect against the ultimate consequences of sin—God's wrath. Additionally, through faith in Christ, we are assured that we are hidden with Him in God, making Him our safe haven in the face of life's challenges.
