How do we know that Christ is our Urim and Thummim?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is identified as our true Urim and Thummim, embodying all light and perfection necessary for salvation.

Christ fulfills the role of the Urim and Thummim as the source of both light and perfection for His people. In Colossians 1:19, we see that all fullness dwells in Christ, making Him the ultimate light of revelation and the embodiment of divine perfection. Just as the Urim and Thummim provided the high priest with guidance and judgments for Israel, Christ, as our high priest, leads us in the way of salvation and righteousness. He carries us upon His heart, ensuring that we have access to God’s will through His intercessory work and the illumination of Scripture by the Holy Spirit.
