How do we know that Christ is precious to us?

2 Peter 1:1 emphasizes that faith is a gift from God and it is this faith that makes Christ precious to us. Without this divinely granted faith, the natural man sees no value in Christ. However, once God quickens a sinner to life and opens their eyes to the truth, they come to realize Christ’s immeasurable worth. This faith leads believers to cast their hope entirely on Christ's work, experiencing His value through promises, the preciousness of His blood, and the security He provides as the cornerstone of their faith.
