How do we know that Christ is present with us today?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is present today through His Word and the Gospel, just as He was during His earthly ministry.

The sermon underscores that Christ’s presence is not confined to historical moments; He is omnipresent. Acts 17:24-25 clarifies that God does not dwell in temples made by human hands. Instead, He is close to all of us, providing life and breath through His Spirit. Romans 10:8 also affirms this intimacy, declaring that the Word of God is 'nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart.' Thus, Christ is present with us in His Word, in the proclamation of the Gospel, and in His power to save, as He was when walking through Jericho with His disciples.
