How do we know that Christ is the central figure of the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture consistently points to Christ as the fulfillment of all God's promises and prophecies.

The entirety of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, reveals Christ as the central figure. The Old Testament is filled with types and shadows that prefigure Christ, as exemplified by the Passover lamb in Exodus and the brazen serpent in Numbers. Jesus himself confirmed this in Luke 24:27, where He explained to the disciples on the road to Emmaus all the things concerning Himself from the scriptures. Ephesians 1:9-10 reinforces this by revealing that the mystery of God's will is to gather all things in Christ. Thus, the consistent testimony and prophetic fulfillment throughout Scripture demonstrate that Christ is indeed the centerpiece of God's revelation.
