How do we know that Christ is the focus of all preaching?

Answered in 1 source

All true preaching should proclaim Christ, as He is the embodiment of God's Word and the means of salvation.

Christ is central to all preaching, as the entire scripture points to Him as the way, truth, and life. Nehemiah and Ezra, exemplifying this truth, preached the Law, which ultimately drives us towards understanding our need for a Savior, Jesus Christ. Romans 3:19-24 specifies that through the Law, we become aware of our guilt before God, necessitating grace and redemption found only in Christ. The preachers in Nehemiah 8 demonstrated that the message must center around Christ, showing that He is the fulfillment of God's redemptive plan, thus making Him the focus of all Christian preaching.
