How do we know that Christ is the only source of salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture affirms that salvation and fullness are found exclusively in Christ, as He fulfilled all righteousness on behalf of believers.

The Bible consistently presents Christ as the only source of salvation. In Colossians 2:10, we read, 'And you are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power.' This affirms that our completeness—our salvation—is anchored in who Christ is and what He accomplishes on our behalf. Jesus, as the mediator, fully embodies God's righteousness, holiness, and mercy, making Him the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins. Without Christ, we remain in our spiritual emptiness and inability to please God. The gospel makes it clear that our salvation is a gift from God through faith in His Son, indicating that any attempt to seek righteousness apart from Him is futile.
