How do we know that Christ is the source of our life?

Answered in 2 sources

We know Christ is the source of our life through His own words in John 14:6, where He declares, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.'

Scripture unequivocally establishes Christ as the source of our life. In John 10:10, Jesus states, 'I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.' This promise assures us that any true life we possess flows from Him. According to Colossians 1:16-17, all things were created by Him and for Him, asserting that He holds all creation together. Thus, He is not only our spiritual sustenance but also the origin of all life. The proclamation of Christ as our life stresses the necessity of being joined to Him—the vine—wherein we find our true essence and vitality. Without Him, we are spiritually lifeless, but through Him, we are given an abundant and fulfilling life.
