How do we know that Christ is the true bread?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture clearly teaches that Christ fulfills the typology of manna as the spiritual bread necessary for eternal life.

Jesus makes a definitive statement in John 6:32-33, where He clarifies that while Moses provided manna, it was the Father who provided the true bread from heaven. This bread gives life to the world, and Jesus claims, 'I am the bread of life,' reinforcing that He fulfills the type of the manna. The manna sustained the Israelites physically, but Jesus as the bread of life sustains believers spiritually and eternally. Therefore, theologically, Christ fulfills the essence of what manna represented – a necessary sustenance for life, both physical and spiritual.
