How do we know that Christ is truly our refuge?

We know Christ is our refuge through His unchangeable promises and the continual strength He provides in our lives.

The assurance that Christ is our refuge lies in the immutability of His promises and His faithfulness to His people. Hebrews 6:18 states that it is impossible for God to lie, thus emphasizing the certainty of His promises, which secure our hope in Christ as our refuge. Additionally, throughout Scripture, high priests such as Jesus serve as eternal mediators for believers, assuring us of His presence and defense. This ongoing relationship with Christ serves as evidence of His refuge in our lives, as He continuously provides strength and support amidst our trials.
