How do we know that Christ's death secured salvation?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ's death secured salvation by fulfilling all conditions necessary for the redemption of His people.

The assurance that Christ's death secured salvation lies in the understanding of His substitutionary atonement. When Christ died on the cross, He bore the sins of His people, which are not attributed to those for whom He died (Isaiah 53:6). His death was not to make salvation possible but to achieve it fully. Romans 8:33-34 reflects this by stating that no one can bring a charge against God's elect because Christ has justified them. This doctrine highlights that where Christ's righteousness is imputed, He guarantees the eternal salvation of His chosen people.
