How do we know that Christ's glory is essential?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's essential glory is revealed through His divinity and His sacrificial work of redemption.

The essential glory of God is recognized as belonging solely to Him, and it is manifest in the Lord Jesus Christ as the embodiment of this glory. When we see Christ, we see the reflection of God's nature, character, and divine perfections. Hebrews 1:3 describes Christ as the brightness of God's glory and the express image of His person. Therefore, understanding Christ's glory is foundational to recognizing His role in salvation and appreciating the profound mystery of the God-man who reveals the unapproachable God to us.
