How do we know that Christ's grace is sufficient for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's grace is sufficient for salvation as it is through faith in Him that we are justified and accepted by God (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The doctrine of sovereign grace teaches that salvation is entirely based on God's unmerited favor and not on human efforts. Ephesians 2:8-9 reinforces this by stating that we are saved by grace through faith, which is not of ourselves but a gift from God. This means that our salvation rests solely in the work of Christ and His grace, ensuring that no one can boast about their works. Moreover, Revelation 3:12 assures believers that those who overcome—those whom God has regenerated—will not only inherit eternal life but will also be recognized by God as pillars of His temple, signifying their secure position in Him. Hence, Christ's grace is sufficient and necessary for salvation.
