How do we know that Christ's merit satisfies God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's infinite worth is what enables Him to satisfy God's justice for sinners.

The worth of Jesus Christ is fundamental to understanding how His sacrifice satisfies divine justice. In the sermon, it's highlighted that Christ is sinless, holy, and separate from sinners, making His merit infinitely greater than all of humanity's collective worth. This is illustrated through the analogy of zeros, where only by placing Christ before them does their value change. His sacrifice as the perfect Lamb of God is what allows us to be accepted by God, as stated in Isaiah 53:10, where God saw the travail of Christ's soul and was satisfied. His worth ensures that His death could atone for not just one, but for countless sinners who place their faith in Him.
