How do we know that Christ's preeminence is true?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ's preeminence is true through the revelation of Scripture and personal experience guided by the Holy Spirit.

Scripture affirms the preeminence of Christ, stating that it pleased the Father that in Him all fullness should dwell (Colossians 1:19). The revelation of Christ to believers is a work of the Holy Spirit, as seen in the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, who only recognized Christ fully when God chose to reveal Him. This divine revelation is crucial, as it allows us to understand that for us to have life, Christ must be shown as preeminent in our hearts. Our conscious recognition of Christ's sovereignty and His rightful place in our lives validates His preeminence.
