How do we know that Christ's reconciliation is effective?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ's reconciliation is effective because faith is the means by which we receive the reconciliation He accomplished (Romans 5:10).

The effectiveness of Christ's reconciliation lies in the promise that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, illustrating God's love and commitment to our salvation. In Romans 5:10, it states that we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son. This reconciliation is not just potential but actual, receiving its efficacy through faith granted to God’s chosen ones. This means that true faith does not merely assert that reconciliation could happen but confirms that it has happened for all who believe (Romans 5:8-10).
