How do we know that Christ's righteousness is sufficient?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ’s righteousness is sufficient because it satisfies God's demand for perfect righteousness, which the law cannot provide.

Christ’s righteousness is sufficient because it is the only perfect righteousness that can meet God's standard. The law demonstrates our inability to achieve this righteousness, as it reveals our sinful nature (Romans 3:20). In 2 Corinthians 3, Paul emphasizes the contrast between the glorious ministration of the law and the surpassing glory of the Spirit. Our hope and security lie in the righteousness of Christ, which is imputed to us, allowing us to stand justified before God. Therefore, believers are not under the condemnation of the law but are free in Christ due to His perfect obedience and sacrificial death (Romans 5:1).
