How do we know that Christ's sacrifice on the cross is sufficient for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's one-time sacrifice is all-sufficient, providing complete redemption for believers.

The sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice on the cross is seen in the completeness of His atonement, which perfected forever those who believe (Hebrews 10:14). This sacrifice was not for Himself but for sinners, establishing God’s eternal purpose to redeem His people. Unlike animal sacrifices, which were only temporary, Christ's sacrifice is final and effective for all who place their faith in Him. Furthermore, His resurrection affirms that the price for sin has been paid in full, offering assurance of forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe (John 3:16).
