How do we know that Christ's sacrifice on the cross was sufficient for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sacrifice is sufficient for salvation as it fulfilled all the demands of God's law and brought reconciliation between God and His elect.

We know Christ's sacrifice was sufficient for salvation because it accomplished everything required for the redemption of God's elect. In Galatians 3:13, we read that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, demonstrating that He took upon Himself the penalties our sins deserved. Furthermore, Romans 3:25 explains that God set forth Christ as a propitiation through faith in His blood, affirming that His sacrifice fully satisfies divine justice. The resurrection of Christ further confirms the efficacy of His atonement, signifying that He has conquered sin and death, granting life to all who believe in Him. Therefore, the entirety of scripture corroborates the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice for salvation.
