How do we know that Christ's sacrifice provides peace?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ's sacrifice provides peace because it fulfills the requirements of the law and atones for sin.

The sacrifice of Jesus is the definitive evidence of peace with God for believers. In Exodus 29, various offerings illustrate the holiness of God and the required obedience for acceptance. Jesus Christ perfectly fulfills these requirements as our sin offering and peace offering. He was without sin and His sacrifice made atonement for those who believe. The scriptures emphasize that only through Christ can we have reconciliation with God. Ephesians 2:14 states explicitly that 'He himself is our peace,' affirming that through His death and resurrection, every barrier to peace with God is removed, allowing believers to rest in His finished work.
