How do we know that Christ's sacrifice secures our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sacrifice is absolutely sufficient to secure the salvation of all for whom He died (Romans 8:32).

In the context of Christ's intercession, Romans 8:32 states, 'He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?' This verse highlights that Christ's sacrifice is both complete and effective. It guarantees that all for whom He died will be saved. The effectiveness of His sacrifice interlinks with His intercession, as He presents His blood before the Father as the basis of salvation for His people. Thus, understanding Christ's role as both sacrifice and intercessor provides believers with confidence in their eternal security.
