How do we know that Christ's strength is made perfect in weakness?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ's strength is perfected in our weakness through His example and through the experience of believers who rely on His power.

The doctrine that Christ’s strength is made perfect in our weakness is illustrated in 2 Corinthians 12:9. In His incarnate ministry, Jesus manifested God’s strength through His humility and suffering. Philippians 2:7-8 explains that He took on human form and not only lived among us but also faced the ultimate weakness-death on a cross. This paradox reveals that true strength is found in humility and total dependence on God. When we, like Paul, acknowledge our weakness, we open ourselves to the power of Christ to be at work. Our reliance on His strength during our lowest moments allows His power to shine through, enabling us to persevere in faith.
