How do we know that Christ's victory is ours?

Answered in 1 source

In Christ, believers share in His victory over sin, death, and hell, as He accomplished everything necessary for salvation.

The victory won by Christ is not just a historical event but a present reality for believers. 2 Corinthians 2:14 affirms that God always leads us in triumphal procession through Christ. This triumph means that what Jesus accomplished on the cross—His obedience, His sacrifice, His resurrection—has been applied to those who believe. This is rooted in the doctrine of union with Christ, which teaches that all that Christ has won, His people share. The victory over death, sin, and Satan belongs to those who trust in Him, not because of their own merits, but solely due to His grace and work.
