How do we know that Christ's work of salvation is sufficient?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ's work is sufficient because He was appointed by God and His sacrificial death fulfilled all the requirements for our salvation.

The sufficiency of Christ's work is grounded in the belief that He was appointed as a substitute and surety for His people. Isaiah 42 reflects that He will not fail nor be discouraged, affirming His power to save to the uttermost. His work on the cross was a complete payment for sin, and as the final sacrifice, He has fulfilled God's justice and law. This teaches us that our trust must not rest on our efforts but on His complete and perfect work, which is established forever in heaven. Therefore, we can be confident in our salvation when we rest in Christ alone.
