How do we know that Christ satisfies our spiritual hunger?

Answered in 2 sources

Jesus Christ is likened to Joseph in Genesis, who provided sustenance during the famine, representing Christ as the source of true spiritual nourishment.

In Genesis 41, Joseph's provision during a time of famine symbolizes the sufficiency of Christ for our spiritual needs. Just as the Egyptians were instructed to go to Joseph for bread, we are called to come to Christ, who declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). Only through a relationship with Him can we find the satisfaction our souls crave. In times of spiritual hunger, acknowledging our need and turning to Christ ensures that we receive not only sustenance for this life but also eternal life, highlighting the grace that God freely offers to the hungry and thirsty.
