How do we know that Christ satisfies the conscience?

Answered in 1 source

Christ satisfies the conscience through His perfect sacrifice and resurrection, providing believers with justification.

The only thing that can truly satisfy the conscience is having nothing to feel guilty about, as highlighted in 1 Timothy 1:5 where the goal is a good conscience stemming from a sincere faith. Christ's sacrifice on the cross paid for our sins, as evidenced by Romans 4:25, which shows His resurrection was for our justification. This means that while feeling guilt is common, through faith in Christ, believers can assert they have nothing to feel guilty about, because He bore our sins and fulfilled God's justice.
