How do we know that Christ saves His people?

Answered in 4 sources

Christ saves His people because He is the perfect God-Man who fulfilled the law and paid the penalty for sin (2 Corinthians 5:21).

The assurance of Christ’s saving work lies in His identity as both God and man, as well as His redemptive actions on behalf of His elect. The preacher emphasizes that 'Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes' (Romans 10:4). This highlights that Jesus perfectly fulfilled all righteousness on behalf of His people and bore their sins on the cross (2 Corinthians 5:21). Additionally, the resurrection of Christ is a divine affirmation of His success in accomplishing redemption. As Romans 4:25 states, He was 'delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.'
