How do we know that Christ still loves us after sinning?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's love does not wane with our sin; rather, His promise of forgiveness remains steadfast for those who repent.

The assurance of Christ's love is rooted in His character and the promises found in Scripture. Despite our failures and shortcomings, Jesus invites us to seek Him sincerely. The plea for His presence, as expressed in the sermon, underlines the belief that even when we sin, our love for Christ can remain genuine albeit imperfect. Furthermore, passages assure us of abundant mercy and forgiveness (Psalm 86:5), verifying that those who earnestly seek Him will find His readiness to forgive. Thus, believers can cling to the promise that Christ is always near, waiting to embrace those who return to Him in repentance.
