How do we know that Christ will triumph over evil?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures us that Christ is sovereign and will ultimately defeat all His enemies, including the forces of evil represented by the beast.

The assurance of Christ's victory is woven throughout the Biblical narrative, particularly in Revelation, where it is proclaimed that 'the Lamb shall overcome them' (Revelation 17:14). In spite of the evident struggles and apparent victories of evil, Scripture teaches that Christ reigns as 'Lord of lords and King of kings.' This confidence is grounded in the doctrine of Christ's sovereignty and the fulfillment of God's eternal purpose, ensuring that all opposition to Him shall ultimately be quelled. Even amid intense persecution hinted at in these prophecies, believers are called to maintain their faith, knowing their victory is secured through Christ's redemptive work.
