How do we know that Christ works in us?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ works in us because the Scriptures affirm that it is God who works in us both to will and to do (Philippians 2:13).

Philippians 2:13 tells us, 'for it is God who works in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure.' This reflects the sovereign grace of God, wherein He not only gives us the desire to obey Him but also the ability to follow through. Our new desires and actions are evidence of Christ at work within us. As we yield to Him, we experience His transformative power, which is essential for true obedience and good works. Thus, our confidence in our Christian walk rests not on our flesh but on the grace of Christ who sustains and empowers us.
