How do we know that Christians are chosen by God?

The evidence of being chosen by God is reflected in the faith, love, and hope that are present in a believer's life. According to Colossians 1:4-5, the faith in Jesus Christ and love for all the saints are markers that indicate a person's election. Furthermore, the hope that they possess, which is laid up for them in heaven, confirms their standing before God.
