How do we know that Christians are free from the ceremonial law?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's fulfillment of the law confirms that Christians are no longer bound by Old Testament ceremonies.

The freedom from the ceremonial law is rooted in the New Testament teaching that Christ has completely fulfilled the requirements of the law. The Apostle Paul makes it clear that the Old Covenant's practices were intended to point to Jesus. With His coming, the need for those practices faded as they were a precursor to the reality of Christ and His work. This truth brings confidence to believers, allowing them to approach God directly through Christ, our advocate, who perfectly satisfied the demands of the law. Hence, Christians embrace a faith founded on grace and not on ceremonial observance.
