How do we know that comfort of love is important for Christians?

In Philippians 2:1, Paul asks if there is 'any comfort of love.' This refers to the agape love of God which is a compelling and sacrificial love. For Christians, this is essential as it cultivates unity within the body of Christ by urging believers to esteem others better than themselves, as noted in Philippians 2:3.
