How do we know that death is an enemy?

Answered in 1 source

Death is described as the final enemy that cannot be conquered, as it affects all humanity.

In Christian theology, death is often viewed as an enemy because it permanently separates us from the physical world and those we love. Despite advancements in technology and medicine that aim to delay death, the reality is that it ultimately claims everyone. As emphasized in the sermon, no one can escape or avoid it; the rich, the powerful, and the poor all meet the same fate. This grim reality should lead us to live with a view towards eternity, ensuring that we prepare our hearts and lives for what follows.
