How do we know that everyone is guilty before God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible states that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, making everyone guilty.

This is made clear in Romans 3, where Paul writes that no one is righteous, not even one. He emphasizes that all have turned aside and together have become worthless. The law serves to highlight this universal guilt, as it is given to make humanity aware of their sinful condition. The authority of God's Word establishes that there is no distinction; all people, both Jews and Gentiles, are in need of salvation and stand before God as guilty.
