How do we know that faith in Christ brings salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is received through faith, which is a gift from God given to those He has made alive (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Faith in Christ is crucial for salvation, as stated in Romans 10:9-10. However, this faith is not produced by our own efforts but is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9). When God regenerates a sinner, they are spiritually made alive, enabling them to truly believe. This process assures us that believers respond to the Gospel because of God's grace, demonstrating that He is sovereign over salvation. Hence, we affirm that faith is a result of God’s work in our hearts.
