How do we know that faith is a saving grace?

Answered in 1 source

Faith is identified as a saving grace because it is a gift from God, allowing believers to trust in Christ for their salvation.

Ephesians 2:8-9 points out that by grace we are saved through faith, establishing that faith itself is a divine gift rather than a human effort. Romans 4:5 reiterates this concept by stating that faith in Christ, who justifies the ungodly, is credited as righteousness. Faith is intrinsically linked to the believer's new nature, enabling true acceptance of the salvation offered through Christ alone. Therefore, we recognize that saving faith is granted by God and operates from His omnipotent power in the life of the believer.
