How do we know that faith is essential for pleasing God?

The Bible clearly states in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith it is impossible to please God. This faith is not merely belief in God's existence, but a deep trust in who God is as revealed through Christ. The true believer recognizes that all good works and sacrifices are accepted by God only through faith in Jesus. Faith involves believing in God's promise and trusting that our salvation is solely based on Christ's completed work, which enables us to perform good works that honor Him. Hence, our faith is both the foundation and the motivation for pleasing God.
