How do we know that faith is precious?

In 1 Peter 1:7, Peter refers to faith as being more precious than gold, indicating that while gold may perish, faith endures and has eternal significance. This precious faith is not something we generate ourselves; rather, it is given to us by God's divine power, as stated in 2 Peter 1:1. The very essence of faith is to trust in Christ's redemptive work, and it is this connection to the Savior that transforms our lives and secures our place in God's kingdom. Without faith, no one can please God or have a relationship with Him.
